When I create a new Task in Outlook, is there any way that I can stop the
task from showing up on the task list until the start date for that task? I
know how to enter in the start and due dates, but I wanted to prevent the
task from displaying until its start date. If it is not possible, would I
have to
enter these tasks as a Calendar item instead?

Nearly right Milly :)

The setting you need is:

View | TaskPad View | Active Tasks for Selected Days.
