Using Calendar to Remind people about Documentation Review Due Dat
Hi,
We currently use the calendar to drop a draft message onto it, set a due date/reminder for an off-business hour, which gets the review/information onto their calendar. Currently, we have not control over whether or not they delete the invitation or complete the task. Couple questions: Can Outlook be programmed to delete the reminder in the calendar when review is returned. Is there a way to customize the tracking tab to add the feature of completed/still in review? We also use Read Receipts to determine if people are reading the emails we send. We just don't want them to be annoyed with the many we send/add to their calendars. We also use the Task to get on their task list. We started looking into Sharepoint - to harness its capabilities for documentation reviews...but didn't get far due to time limitations. If this has been accomplished by anyone (and how) would love to know. Thank you in advance. -- writertech/Sharepoint Admin Computershare Shelton, CT 06484 |
