Microsoft Outlook email - Message: Could not save (appointment). Not implemented...Why?

Message: Could not save (appointment). Not implemented...Why?

Installed Office XP on a new system and can not save appointments in the
Calendar of Outlook...get message "Could not save. Not Implemented" Can any
one help in determining the cause of this message...all other Office programs
work fine and Calendar did on the old computer. Thanks for any help.
