Default Calendar defaults to current date and time

If the user clicks in the date and uses File-New-Appointment, does that
work? Double clicking in the calendar will always bring up an event with
the current date and the default reminder for events (18 hours).

After furious head scratching, Bambi asked:

| I have one user who has this problem. When creating an appointment,
| the date and the time defaults to the current date and time, not to
| the selected future date and time. From a calendar day view, I
| selected a future date, say Jan 13. When I double-click say on 10AM,
| the appointment will come up with today's date and time as the start
| time, rather than Jan 13, 10AM. Tried in different views, still the
| same problem. This is with Outlook 2002 SP3.
