How do I attach a note to a certain date?
 

I want to show that certain employee will be out on a certain date. It's not
an appointment or a task. I think it would fall under note. But how do I
show the note on my daily calendar?

I don't think there's anything for that but I'd use an all-day event for it
on a Public Folder calendar.
