Click the first, Shift- or CTRL-click to extend the selection, then press
Delete, just like for any other Windows application.

Another more complicated, but more precise way, is to change the view of the
calendar to a list, as opposed to the default day/week/month. Click: View
menu, current view (if you have OL 2003, click on "Arrange by" and then
current view), recurring appointments. The view changes to list. Add the
field "Recurrence Range End" to the viewing window on the right (use field
chooser). Then go back into the View menu, (Arrange by) current view,
customize current view, one at a time, click on Group By... ; Sort; and
Filter and click on the "Clear All" button in each window. This turns off all
filters. Now you will see every single appointment and holiday, etc that
exists in your calendar, dating back to the very first meeting or appt you
ever set up. Now click on OK to exit from that Customize window. Click on
the 'Recurrence Range End' field header to sort ascending or descending -
depending on your preference. Now you can select the first item, hold down
your shift key, and click on the last item within the recurrence range end
date range you want to delete. They all go into your deleted items so
remember to empty that as well.

HTH,
Kim
