How do I change the defaults in the navigation pane

I have five calendars from Other calendars checked to display. When I switch
over to the inbox and come back to calendars, I have to check them all off
again. How do I change the default to always open these calendars?

Outlook 2003 doesn't support such an option. (Outlook 2007 does.)
