I am trying to print out a task list for the remainer of the year. This
should list all recurrences of the task.

Since a recurring item is only one item and not separate entries, you are
seeing everything stored for that item. In other words, the recurrences are
calculated items, not separate ones. It would be a good feature to have,
though.

As long as the user has the option to hide future recurrences. Otherwise, I
could see some major problems if a user has a long list of recurring items.
