Is it possible to turn off email notification when changing Calendar information?

I have multiple meetings with a lot of attendees that I have to update/make a change to and don't necessarily need to send an email notification regarding the change. Is it possible to turn off/suppress email notifications to attendees when I'm making a change to a Calendar event?
