Is there a way to change the default behavior. If you were to double click in
the calendar it would default to an appointment and not an all day event? "Bettergains" wrote: Thanks, Milly. That will help. I will try that. "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: Also, if you create your appointments by double-clicking in the calendar, it defaults to an "event" which will always get an 18 hour reminder. If you use File-New or click on the appointment icon when in the calendar folder, it defaults to an appointment which uses your user-defined reminder. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Double clicking will always bring up a new event. If you want an
appointment, try selecting the date and use File-New or click on the Icon. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. That is helpful information but very annoying. This has had me frustrated
for a while. I suppose I need to break my habit of double clicking and get in the habit of hitting the new appointment button. It was nice to double click though because you could just double click on the day you wanted the appointment and it would default to the day you wanted.
