I am using Outlook 2007. My .pst file is less than 1G, and it is corrupted. As the title says, scanpst.exe fails to repair it.

I have read your post completely to understand your problem! This error occurs when PST file has been brought from an Outlook earlier version to the Outlook 2007. Did you carry your PST file from an earlier version?
