Cut and paste email content into Contact record
I constantly cut and paste email content into the Contact record for that
individual. I am looking for an add-in, macro or utility to do this automatically. That is, when I have an email open, I would like this macro to automatically look-up the Contact, copy the content of the email into the Contact General Tab's note box, date it, and eliminate all of the blank lines. This allows me to keep a running chronology of all correspondence with each Contact in the most obvious and convenient place. I do not want to use the Activities tab which is extremely, extremly slow and cumbersome. Does anyone know if this exists? Thanks, Mike |

I´ve developed such an Addin for copying e-mails into tasks. It shouldn´t be a problem to change the code to work with contacts. Additionally I´d have to translate it into English, so if you do not find any ready-to-use tool then send me an e-mail, please. -- Viele Gruesse / Best regards Michael Bauer - MVP Outlook -- www.VBOffice.net -- I constantly cut and paste email content into the Contact record for that individual. Michael, it would be great if you could change your add-in to work with
contacts. I would be happy to help compensate you for the translation too. Thanks, Mike Car "Michael Bauer [MVP - Outlook]" wrote in message ...
