outlook backup stopped prompting

I have used outlook personal folders backup for quite some time. However, some time in the past, I stopped getting the weekly prompt to save the backup when closing outlook. Backup... still shows as an option in the File menu and works if told to backup from there. Please help.
Outlook 2007 SP2 on Windows XP SP3
