If Outlook was not closed when the backup was made, there's no guarantee the
PST is valid. We use the same backup program and we see PSTs in the
exception log all the time because we can't get people to close their
Outlooks when they go home. Consequently, their PSTs don't get backed up
properly.

When you restored it, where did you put it and how did you tell Outloopk to
use it?
