Default Contacts folder shows as an Address Book but no Contacts show

Very odd.
I don't suppose there is any clue what steps lead up to the problem on
Thursday?
Are you certain that the Contact Folder that appears in the Outlook Address
Book is the same one you are viewing in the users mailbox?
If you create a new Contact from scratch in this folder with a valid,
resolved electronic address, will it appear?

They do contain valid email addresses and this function has worked before
but
stopped working on Thursday.

Hi,
I have a client that is using Outlook 2000 with an Exchange 2000
server.
One user has their Contacts folder selected to show as an email address
book.
I click on To in a new message and choose Contacts from the drop down
box
but no Contacts show in the box. They do appear in the Contacts
folder.
I
have removed the Outlook Address Book and then recreated it in the
users
Outlook profile shutting down and reopening Outlook after each change.
I
have created a new profile for the user. I have opened her mailbox on
a
different computer also using Outlook 2000 and have gotten the same
results.
ANy help with this problem would be appreciated. Thanks

Deanna
