Hi Al,

Outlook would need to be installed on your home PC for what you're trying to
do to have a chance of success -- it has the necessary converters for such
an import/export process to work. Import from Outlook on the same PC.

What can be done is to export the Outlook Contacts as a File,
Comma-Separated Values (Windows) (*.csv).

The CSV file, which is supported by OE/Windows Address Book, can be used to
import the address book entries into Outlook Express.

Well, I've searched the newsgroups high and low but haven't found what I

to do this with. I found how to go from OE to OL but not the other way
around. My address book in .pab form exists on OL2000 in my computer at
work. Now that I got one at home that is running OE6.0 I'd like to transfer
it over. So I email myself the .pab file from work and then try to import
it
into OE and it asks me for a .wab file. I tried converting the .pab to a
..csv and then to a .wab to see if that would work, but I can only get a
window that asks me which of the folders in OL I want to export from. I
can't browse for the .pab file, no matter where it is located. I'm sure I
can either do this by some sleight of keyboard or it can't be done and I
have
to copy my addresses over manually. Arggghhh!! Any help would be greatly
appreciated; my apologies if this has been covered before and I couldn't
find
it. Thanks!
