Default Get a copy of my contacts and emails

The file used has a PST extension but it's stored, typically, in the
C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder. So, you might only have a month old copy of
the file.

Check out the info here also for potential help:

I usually back up C: monthly and C:\Documents and Setting\My Documents
daily
on an external hard drive. I reinstall my laptop a few days ago and would
like to know is how Outlook saves this information or the name of the file
having this info. I think this shluld be in the Microsoft Office folder
but
need to know the name of the file to copy it from the external hard drive
to
the internal hard drive.
