Copy Outlook.pst to a new location.
Rename Outlook.pst to Outlook.old at the old location.
Restart Outlook and Outlook wil ask where your Outlook.pst is.
Select Outlook.pst at the new location. Done.

I want to move a pst file to a new location. I shutdown Outlook, moved
the file and restarted Outlook expecting to get a prompt that the file
was missing and asking me to point to the new location (instructions
found on slipstick). But rather Outlook opened and the folder where
the data had been located just refused to expand saying that the old
path was no longer valid. What do I need to do differently to get this
folder moved?

Outlook 98 (internent only mail mode)
WinXP
