Default Combine "Mailbox" and "Personal Folers"

Thanks Brian.

Am I correct that the Personal Folders and the .pst file are both needed for
the POP3 account?

I have outlook installed on all users PCs each with one Exchange
account and one POP3 account. Therefore (I assume) the "Mailbox"
folders are created in association with Exchange and the "Personal
Folders" are created in association with the pst file related to the
POP3 account.

Incorrect assumption. Both the Exchange account and the POP account will
use the same delivery location: whatever has been selected in the
"Delivery new e-mail to the following location" drop-down at the bottom
left of ToolsE-mail AccountsNext

First, must it be this way or do I have some choice in how this is
configured? Specifically, most users want all e-mail coming into one
Inbox. Is there a way that I can have the POP3 messages come into the
Exchange Inbox and get rid of the Personal Folders?

Make the delivery location the Exchange mailbox.
