Default Language Set To French

Oops!

I clicked "Post" too soon!

Here's what I intended to say: Thanks, Bruce!

I followed your choice "C" instructions using the English Dictionary from
Office 2000.

Even with that version, it worked well for me.

That is a third party spell check that overrides the spell check from Word.
It doesn't actually correct anything. It does work fine though. I have used
it for years.

You no longer have spell checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook
Express 6.0 after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974

Outlook Express cannot use the MS Word spell check in Office 2007.
Downloading a free spell check is the simplest way around this.

Vampirefo Spell Check.

Download it from Major Geeks:

Or download it from SnapFile:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spelloe.html

Or you may like TinySpell. (Checks the spelling as you type).

Download it he

Australian English Spell Check
(Also suitable for other English speaking countries.)

If you have a previous version of Office, see this:

There is a Folder (Spell Checker for OE 2.1) which contains a file
English.exe. Run this file to correct Spelling Check from French to
English. A computer technician corrected this same problem for me in
about 2 minutes.

I've just installed Office 2007 Home and student Edition on a Windows XP
Home
SP2 PC with latest updates and the Language (Tools-Options-Spelling) in
Outlook Express 6 SP2 has now changed to French. It is not possible to
change
language becasue French is selected but greyed out.

The Primary Editing Language in Office 2007 is English United Kingdom and
English United States is also in the Enabled Editing Languages list.

Can anyone give any suggestions?
