Put the dbx files in a folder on the new computer. Remove the Read Only
attribute.
In OE, File, Import, Messages, OE6, select OE store directory, browse to
folder of dbx files.

File, Import will not overwrite messages.

[ Both the old & new computers have/had IE 7.0 & OE 6.0 fully updated

all patches/updates. The old computer ran Windows XP Home SP2 & the new

has XP Professional SP3 ].
