Default Conceal Identity

Well let's keep our fingers crossed. I have received help in the Vista
forum, but I have had to read a lot of trash to get to it.

Earle,
I wasn't referring to your specific use, but to those who claim to do
similar necessarily don't.

The Vista groups have the same people complaining/flaming/trolling, even
though the handles have changed for a few, about Vista today that did
similar on XP. This group, with an occasional exception, has remained
relatively free of that same nuisance.

I use my real name because I have nothing to hide, because most hostile
posters never carry their intentions beyond the keyboard and because
Colorado is a "make my day law" state. I have seen some people posting
though, who really shouldn't. These groups aren't so bad, but the Vista
group... It's understandable, given the subject matter, but 99.99% of
posts are a waste of time. Just try to get a question about Vista
answered. Half the people who answer have no idea, and the rest want you
to join their crusade. Sometimes, someone with a clue posts a response.

Check out the flame war in rec.autos.makers.jeep+willys and
alt.binaries.pictures.autos. "I'm going to send you a subpoena",
"Where's my subpoena, xxxxxxxxxx?", then one of the participants found
some kind of mail-bomb spammer software and all hell broke loose. He
seemed like a completely normal person at first too.

Don't even mention the spammers and Nigerian inheritance scams...

Sometimes I upload a video to YouTube, but I haven't become anyone's
"friend" yet, despite numerous offers.

Maynard has since figured out, that he can only turn the machine
backwards, and that this doesn't get him any more cat food than he's
going to get if he leaves it alone. Sometimes, cats are smarter than
humans.
