Yes.

Can't do that as the
original problem, the
box that says, "A program is trying to access
e-mail addresses
you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow
this?" comes
up and Outlook freezes so I can't get to the
tools.....

See if this tool will point you to the add-in that's interfering:
http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/security/ . You can then uninstall the
add-in.
