Problem with the Contacts Folder - Error Msg when using
Thanks Brian.....I assume the
"click ToolsOptionsOtherAdvanced
Options....should be
done from Outlook ? Can't do that as the
original problem, the
box that says, "A program is trying to access
e-mail addresses
you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow
this?" comes
up and Outlook freezes so I can't get to the
tools.....
I have tried all day to restore to an earlier
point and none of
them would work. Thought maybe that would get rid
of my
problem.

By "add-in" do mean something I have added to
Outlook Exp or Outlook or just something on my
computer ? What is an add-in
as I don't usually add on something, My
programs
are pretty basic ones. I'm not a gamer or you
tube, my space etc. How would I got about
finding
what "add-in" is causing the problem ? Since
the
msg says something is trying to access my "email
addresses" I would assume it has something to do
with either program.
It could be something like Adobe Acrobat or one of
the common zip programs.
If you click ToolsOptionsOtherAdvanced Options
(if Outlook 2000 even has
that), there may be a coupld of add-in management
buttons there. See what
you have.
