well... i tried...

NEVER import from a PST. It's likely to damage the mail profile.
Instead,
you should have used the Mail applet in Control Panel to add the old
PST,
made it the delivery location, then removed the new, empty
outlook1.pst from
the profile.


but it did not fix the problem like last time...

any thoughts on why this 1 stationery goes bad (i can't even use it
myself... i set it, see it when i compose, but it is not there when i
receive my own email... but it is in outlook express)...

is there a way to deinstall Outlook so that it thinks it was never
there, and start from scratch... that fixed it last time...
