Default Where is Outlook 2003 Contact file maintained on my disk drive

Contacts do not exist separately from your other Outlook data. Don't even
think of overwriting an Outlook data file. Open your backup file in Outlook
and copy what you need from it. Where it resides depends on where you put
it. The default locations are all well documented. The file you need is your
Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts
etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer:

I accidentally deleted a business mailing list from Contacts this morning,
but thanks to a Norton Ghost back up last night I have an archive copy
from
yesterday I can resurrect the whole Contacts file from. There've been no
other significant changes to the Contacts file, so overwriting the whole
thing won't cost me anything. But where does the Contacts file reside on
my
computer, and what is it called?

Thanks in advance ...one of those mornings over here.

Jim
