This puzzles me because IMAP accounts don't have trash folders. When you
delete an item in an IMAP account, Outlook tells the server to mark it for
deletion and then overstrikes the item (i.e., displays it with a line
through it). It doesn't get moved to a Deleted Items folder like POP or
Exchange accounts. What exactly are you seeing? Where is the message
displayed that you have "trash"?
