unable to import the email contact from CSV file in outlook contacts

I was able to pull all the data except the field of email. i did a

1. i exported a name and email of one person in excel format
2.saved it as csv.
3. deleted any contact from outlook
4. imported contact from csv file
There was no email in tha.
Can anyone help me?
