Default delete files in identity?

Thanks.

It's OK to delete D:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{FAC0681D-A00E-4D13-8A07-1D401A78FE7D}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Janice Jorgensen =this folder.

NB: The deleted folder should end up in the Recycle Bin. For safety's sake, don't empty the Recycle Bin (or at least don't delete this folder from it) until you're sure everything's OK.

A few more things to check to be sure all your OE-related data are in the right place.

1. Open your Address Book (CTRL+Shift+B, if OE is open) Click on Help about: What address is displayed here? D:\Documents and Settings\Janice Jorgensen\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\Janice Jorgensen.wab

2. Are all of your messages currently available in their current OE folders? yes if you mean the "store".

Please answer my specific question: Does OE Tools Options Maintenance
Store Folder *currently* point to D:\Documents and Settings\User\Local
Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{FAC0681D-A00E-4D13-8A07-1D401A78FE7D}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\Janice =this folder or G:\outlookexpress store =this folder? points to G:\outlookexpress store

If the latter:

Is there any *other* subfolder of D:\Documents and Settings\User\Local
Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{FAC0681D-A00E-4D13-8A07-1D401A78FE7D}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express, other than the old message store folder (e.g., Janice)? yes D:\Documents and Settings\Janice Jorgensen\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{01FC8C8B-E6EA-4935-B68F-63616F00FE84}\Microsoft\Outlook Express It contains

"Pop3" a very large text document

Is D:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{FAC0681D-A00E-4D13-8A07-1D401A78FE7D}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\Janice =this folder empty now? yes

OE Tools Options Maintenance Store Folder: What's the address of
your current message store, Janice?

e.g., C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{GUID}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Janice =this folder

If you did the change store correctly, OE would have Moved old store
files
so that you wouldn't have the file in the old location.

How do I move my store folder?
http://www.insideoe.com/faqs/how.htm#movestore

In any case, assuming that you are using only one identity, do a File,
Folder Compact All. Then check the dates on the DBX files at the old
and
new locations. The ones with the current date are the ones being used.
If the other has dates as old or older than when you did the move, they
can be deleted.
