Default Outlook 2000 contact list file & exporting contacts

In addition to what Karl had advised, please be aware that an upgrade from Outlook 2000 IMO to any later version of Outlook will cause an LDAP error when you open Outlook 2007. You will need to go into Control Panel-Mail Icon-Accounts and on the last tab "Addresses" you will need to add the Outlook Address Book service. This will allow you to view your Contact addresses when addressing new mail.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Leo asked:

| (we will be getting Outlook 2007 soon, but this is for 2000):
| (1) Creating contacts one by one in Outlook 2000, saved as individual
| Word files. Can a single file be created with ALL contacts, that can
| be opened & displayed with all information for contacts besides the
| Detailed Address Cards View from within Outlook 2000?
| (2) What is the best way to import all Outl. 2000 contacts into Outl.
| 2007? (3) Which Outl. 2000 Export to a file type or format is used to
| import contacts into the Constant Contact application?
