I tied to install this spell checker
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952

it got part way through the process of installation, and came up with this
warning

'some or more of the files are write protected, would you like to
overwrite
them now'.

What does that mean, Is it somehow there is a spell checker in there
somewhere. What should I do?

Hi, I have another problem that I have had since I got my pc. I dont
have
a
spell check in OE.

When I open a message box, the spell check option just isnt there.

OE does not come with a spelling checker. It uses the spelling checker
from
any Office program that has one. Do you have such a program?

If not you could try one of these:

Free spellchecker.
which I use on my laptop, which has Works.

And here's a freeware that checks your spelling as you type:
TinySpell
