Michael, I tried your two suggestions and neither helped. Any other ideas?

If you still have problems, then in Windows XP: Control Panel,
Add/Remove Programs, Set Program Access and Defaults, Email. Select
Outlook Express as your default mail program, even if it looks like it
already is.

You specifically mention "When in My Pictures". Are you able to do
this
OK from other folders?

If the new mail window has not been opened and you want to select a
picture and Right click Send to Mail Recipient doesn't work, see
Frank's
reply.
