This is not anything I am aware of or seen. It sounds more like a bug. I
would start by removing the profile that was added. Test the existing
account and see if that solves the issue. If yes, then create a new profile
for his wife. Also make sure all updates for Office and Windows are done.
Still an issue run a detect and repair.

Interesting feature - but it seems to be unlisted and not found in
Tools Options, Email Options, advanced.

Any ideas???? He is getting tired of restarting Outlook that often.
