Default Vista Version, Exchange & Outlook

You should be able to connect to either an Exchange Server 2003 via RPC over
HTTPS or to an Exchange Server 2007 via Outlook Everywhere.

So, yes....You would need to have Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007.

Not sure that the OS on the client is important! But not clear on that
point.

Hi

What version of Vista do I require in order to be able to connect to
aan
Exchange server via Outlook 2003?

I recently purchased a laptop that came with Vista Home Premium
installed,
and I am wondering whether I need to upgrade to the Ultimate edition.
Is
domain access necessary to connect via Outlook?

When I set up the mail profile, it finds the mail server and user name
and
underlines them. When I try to start Outlook, it asks me for my
Exchange
username and password, then stops responding completely. Everything is
full
patched.

Regards

James
