Default pst didn't bring calendar and contacts along.

Sounds like you copied the wrong PST file. An archive PST file would contain
no Contacts or Calendar, for example. Also, are you certain you examined
this file in all views and not just the Mail view?

memory drive and placed it on the desktop.

I have been to File | Open | Outlook Data File... Opened the pst on the
desk top. I get no Calendar or Contacts.

Where did I slip up?
