So are you suggesting that Outlook 2007 isn't (new) DST compatible? I've
noticed the same problem with my calendar items.

Sometimes when i open my Outlook calendar i find that b'days &

this i have to go into each series occurrence and then click
occurence and then hit okay. This is okay for a while and then it
happens again sometime later. Any hints or advise?

Usually a mismatch between Windows' and Outlook Calendar's Daylight Saving
Time settings, especially now when you probably patched Windows (via Windows
Update) and not Outlook (with the tzmove patch).
