so a new profile didn't work either or did you just try deleting the dat
files? uninstall / reinstall rarely fixes thing that a repair wouldn't also
fix (help, office diagnostics)

alternately, you can try deleting 1 or more of the configure files used
by outlook - http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2...issues.htm#gen
I'd start with extend.dat, then outcmd.dat. it may allow the old profile
to work - if not, make a new one.
