Default Stop Search Command for Address Book Search

Ok, Milly… I wish I was keeping it a secret. Both in the MS Outlook Address
Book Contact Search field in my tool bar or by opening the search bar in my
contact folders, I get the same response. Start a search and there is no way
to stop it. My reference to Internet Explorer was a reference to how I
wished it would work in Outlook. Are you saying you can stop your search in
Outlook? If so where am I missing it or is it that I have not sprung for a
newer version since I am still using 03?

Thanks for responding.

My version allows this - why doesn't yours? Oh, that's right, you decided to keep that little tidbit a secret. I am sure that Microsoft will take your "suggestion" to heart.

After furious head scratching, Don Ashlock asked:

| Make a typo when serching your Find a Contact field to search your
| address book and you have to sit and wait as it seems forever. It
| would be nice to be able to interupt the search and start over much
| like Internet Explorer allows you to stop an internet search.
