Default Problem Solved!

[Posting for archival purposes.]

Nice digging & YW!

I still think it has something to do with the security-related defenses
first introduced in MS05-052 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896688). Why
this problem was seen before MS05-052 was released and why it doesn't affect
every user, I dunno.

Now let's see if we can remember this when we run into this again...

I just wanted to say a big "Thank you" to all of you who offered help
concerning this problem I was experiencing in trying to send a
picture/image
from a Web site. Thanks to PA Bear's suggestion, I was able to find the
correct solution to this problem. The solution was this:

START RUN then type in regsvr32 ole32.dll then press enter.

I hope you all have a Happy New Year in 2007!

Thanks again,
Dave

I am no longer able to send a Web page image (picture) in an email. When
I
right click on a picture on a Web page and select "E-mail Picture...," I
receive a "Send Mail" message that states, "The current document type can
not be sent as mail. Would you like to send a shorcut instead? Yes/No" I
can send picture as a link (shortcut) but not as a picture. I am running
Windows XP SP2, IE6, and OE6. I haven't made any changes to the Options
in
OE6 or IE6. This error just started occurring today.

Can someone tell me how to correct this error?

Thanks in advance, and Happy New Year to all!
