I am no longer able to send a Web page image (picture) in an email.
When I right click on a picture on a Web page and select "E-mail
Picture...," I receive a "Send Mail" message that states, "The
current document type can not be sent as mail. Would you like to send
a shorcut instead? Yes/No" I can send picture as a link (shortcut)
but not as a picture. I am running Windows XP SP2, IE6, and OE6. I
haven't made any changes to the Options in OE6 or IE6.
This error just started occurring today.

Can someone tell me how to correct this error?

Thanks in advance, and Happy New Year to all!

I don't think that solution matches his problem. He *can* use OE from
a webpage, he 'just' can't use it to send pictures, but he *can* send a
shortcut.

FWIW, I also encounter that problem with *some* webpages, mostly when
I try to send the *page* (i.e. not just some picture) by e-mail. I.e.
in IE: File - Send - Page by E-mail... . When it happens, I work
around it by saving the page in a file (File - Save As... Save as type:
Web Archive, single file (*.mht)) and then mailing the file.
