Default Contact List format

Should be easy, then. (It would be even easier if we knew what version you
are using now.)
First make sure your File As... fields are all in the format you want to
use.
Then set the Outlook Address Book to sort by the File As... field he

Sorry! I'm new at this. When I select new message and To = the messy
list
comes up. Hope this helps.

Please see my response to Steve above.

I want to list and view my contacts by 'surname, first name'. No
matter
what I do,
they're all mixed up, some with 'first name surname', 'surname first
name'
(no comma), etc.

How can I enter new contacts to appear 'surname, first name'?
How can I easily re-sort the mess I have already?

Thanks so much.
