An alternative is for them to use the Group Schedules to see when others are
available. This is in 2002 and 2003. It's a button to the left of Today
button when you are in the Calendar. Try it out.

I have three users that would like to merge their individual
calendars into one shared calendar. Is this a possibility? If not,
does anyone have any other suggestions that might be an alternative
to their request?
Open the source calendar, select all items with CTRL-A, click editCopy to
Folder, and specify the shared calendar as the destination.
